Anastasia or as she is affectionately called, Stacy, is a senior paralegal with the Jagan Law Firm working primarily out of the Queens office. Stacy joined the law firm when she was only nineteen (19) years old. Over the years Stacy has exhibited a strong work ethic and passion for immigration law.  Stacy has the unique and unmatched ability to remember details about every client she encounters. Stacy joined the firm when the firm was expanding and she became an important part of that expansion, without Stacy’s steadfast commitment to the firm and ability to multitask while remaining calm and polite, the firm would not have been able to grow and expand to the degree it has.

A Little Bit About Stacy

Stacy began her career with the Jagan Law Firm as a legal secretary, and within the first week it was clear that she was not only capable but gifted. During her time as legal secretary, Stacy successfully answered all calls from multiple lines, prepared mail, managed the calendar, and met with clients while being the go-to for all staff. After excelling as the only full-time legal secretary at that time, Stacy then pursued the role of office manager, taking on more responsibilities and tasks. After it became clear that Stacy’s expertise and dedication was better utilized with direct client interactions she was promoted to the senior paralegal role. Even as senior paralegal, Stacy is still the go to person for all staff including both attorneys who depend on her knowledge.

Stacy has worked extremely hard with the firm regardless of the position she has held during her time with the firm. While Stacy may be young, she has encompassed all attributes that make her valuable to the firm. Stacy had become such a staple at the firms front desk of the Queens office that clients are often confused when they do not see her when they walk in. Stacy’s empathy and integrity allows her to connect to our clients, she shares the same understanding as many of our clients as she came to the US at just sixteen (16) years old to live the “American Dream” which is why she works hard and is driven by the desire to want to help make a difference in our clients’ lives. Stacy’s commitment to the firm and our clients has led her to be recognized for her exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage complex tasks with efficiency.
