Anecia A. Singh is a legal receptionist with the Jagan Law Firm, and she works from Schenectady office strategically handling all firm incoming calls. Anecia is the very first voice you will hear when contacting the law firm and this position is no easy task, as she juggles multiple phone lines from three different office locations.
A Little Bit About Anecia
Anecia’s journey with the firm began at the age of eighteen (18) years old, joining the firm as a full-time legal receptionist in June of 2024, while also working after hours at her second job, she is no stranger to dedicated hard work. As a legal receptionist, Anecia’s role is to perform various administrative tasks such as managing the office calendar, relaying case updates, welcoming clients, handling client payments efficiently, and assisting the attorney’s and paralegals with additional tasks as needed. Anecia isn’t simply answering phone calls, she is successful multitasking to assist all firm staff as needed. Did we mention she was only eighteen when she began with the firm and very quickly became instrumental to all aspects of the firm day to day successful operation.
Anecia graduated from Schenectady High School in June of 2023 where she participated in countless programs and sports that has had a huge impact on who she is today. She was a part of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (“AFJROTC”) program, while successfully earning a position with the National Honor Society (“NHS”). As for sports, she played volleyball and was captain of the first ever girls wrestling team at Schenectady High School. Anecia is a proud local of the Schenectady community and a great addition to the firm team.
Anecia aspires to be an aerospace medical technician in the U.S. Air Force and has a passion for helping others.

Fun Fact: Anecia’s favorite food is chicken curry and roti, she may have been raised in America, but she is still Guyanese at heart.
