Supervising Paralegal

Francine, also know as Fran, is the supervising paralegal with the Jagan Law Firm and she works out of the Brooklyn office. Francine has been with the firm for several years and is knowledgeable in all aspects the firm practice and helps to support all paralegals, while maintaining her own caseload. Francine originally worked in the Queens office, but was eager to assist in supervising the opening of our newest location in November of 2024 and is now in the Brooklyn office.

A Little Bit About Fran…

Francine was born and raised in the vibrant heart of Queenstown, Guyana, and she brings her own immigration journey to the work we do every day. Francine knows firsthand how overwhelming and emotional the immigration process can be—which is why she does everything to make sure every client feels seen, heard, and supported. Fran has handled all types of immigration cases from inception to completion during her time with the firm and is the paralegal of choice for clients with more complicated immigration histories which need more thorough and advanced work. Francine works with the firm full time and also works as a full-time licensed real estate agent. Francine is driven, committed and extremely organized, allowing her two juggle two careers at once.

Francine is the proud girl mom of three amazing children who are always up for an adventure—especially if it involves a beach day or hunting down the best local bakery.
